About the Data Engineer Jobs in Gurgaon

• Partner with KFC, Pizza Hut, & Taco Bell to identify opportunities to leverage company data to drive business outcomes.
• Play a key role in our advanced analytics team - developing data-driven solutions, and responsible for driving Yum Growth.
• Design and develop scalable batch and micro-batch data integration frameworks to move and transform a variety of data sets.
• Able to build ETL pipelines to ingest the data from heterogeneous sources into system
• Good communication skills and able to work with BA to understand the business requirements and help making data related decisions
• Develop on the Yum! data platform by building applications using best in breed SaaS tools (Informatica Cloud, Snowflake, Domo, etc.).
• Perform Unit testing process to ensure the delivery meets the business requirements, scalable, debug, tune and optimize code for optimal performance
• Implement and manage production support processes around data lifecycle, data quality, coding utilities, storage, reporting and other data integration points.
• Mandatory Skills-

• BE-BETCH - 2-6 years of relevant experience in data engineering experience
• Database Concepts and SQL (Advanced) – Snowflake Datawarehouse preferred
• ETL (Intermediate) – Informatica IICS preferred, Informatica Power Center could be accepted.
• Data Architecture/Modelling (Intermediate) – Star Schema preferred
• Agile Methodology (Intermediate) – Jira preferred
• Knowledge of cloud architectures (Intermediate) – AWS preferred
  • Cloud BI certification a plus
• Experience in processing structured and semi structured data
   

Key Responsibilities

• Support production ETL pipelines and ensure successful completions.
• Support data quality initiatives and ensure all data is of high quality.
• Develop new data domain ingestions under guidance of a team lead.
• Participate in daily scrum calls and other procedural meetings.
• Be an active team member by providing thoughtful input and helpful suggestions for improvement.
