WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As Senior Software Engineer for RBC Life Insurance in Mississauga, ON, you will work as part of a Development Team to create the documents to be used by our administration systems to send personalized communications to our RBC Clients using the Quadient Inspire suite of products. In addition, you will support the development, architecture and project teams with your Document creation and print industry knowledge to help build a strong and resilient team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO as Senior Software Engineer in Mississauga, ON ?

In this role, you will be a Sr. Software Engineer within the QUADIENT development team, responsible for designing and implementing software solutions.

• Designing and coding application programs; performing testing for developed applications.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system.
• Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.
• Conducting analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
   

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED as Senior Software Engineer in RBC Life Insurance Mississauga, ON ?

Must have:

• Work with our Business Partners to understand their requirements and processes.
• Engage with our IT Partners to design source file formatting for Document creation
• Provide consultation work to our project teams regarding our Document creation capabilities
• Work as part of an Agile team to create engaging Client Documents and Correspondence in Quadient Inspire
• Create the Document processing workflows in Quadient Scaler
• Manage DevOps code management and promotion using GitHub, Jenkins and UCD
• Support Quality Assurance to test our documents
• Provide Maintenance and support for our Document system
