Sales Coordinator – MEP

We’re looking for a Sales Coordinator, preferably a candidate with related experience or knowledge of construction tools, construction equipment, consumables and building material to join our team.

As a Sales Coordinator, you will analyze customer enquiries and prepare sales quotations/offers for those enquiries based on various variables like price list, discount structure approved for the customer, feedback from Division Manager or Sales Staff.

You will be responsible for answering inquiries, dealing with issues and solving problems in a positive manner to ensure a superior level of customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate all required information for the preparation of sales quotations.
• Interpret customer’s requirements and match products to customer specifications. Ensure quote is technically compatible by communicating with other departments and staff to determine and clarify customer requirements.
• Use technical knowledge to prepare quotation packages based on the product content and material type.
• Collaborate with master data management team, product line managers and sales to ensure customer requirements are handled accurately.
• Field customer inquiries. Coordinate vendor relationships to ensure timely response.
• Gather required data for quote preparation. Build and maintain pricing measurements for decision making processes. Maintain various databases.
• Coordinate with warehouse team and delivery team on timely delivery to customers.
• Ensure complete documentation like signed purchase orders from customers and signed delivery notes are received and handed over to finance for further processing and invoicing.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Sales Coordinator
• Experience in preparing Sales Quotations based on customer requirements.
• Experience working in an Inventory Based SAP system.
• Good Communication Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office (esp. in Excel) and other office applications.
