As the Mobile App Software Engineer, you will work closely with User Experience, Product, and Platform Engineering teams to help scope work, architecting reliable, performant and scalable React Native solutions.

How you will contribute to what we do:
 

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize front-end components for maximum performance and usability.
• Using React Native, design and develop scalable and reusable user interface components for Tanger mobile app.
• Build components using GraphQL to fetch data from the loyalty platform and other data sources.
• Make use of additional JavaScript libraries such as Redux to make asynchronous API calls to third-party applications as well as improve the performance of the mobile apps.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback to developers.
• Develops and documents standards, best practices, and mentor other engineers.
• Uses test driven development (TDD) practices to assist with the detection/recognition of software defects early in the development process.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to ReactNative, GraphQL, iOS and Android development technologies.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned
   

About You:
 

• You have a BS or BA degree from accredited college or university in computer science or related field, six (6) plus years of related experience in Reactive Native mobile app development.
• You have relevant experience within the commercial real estate industry.
• You have experience with frontend frameworks (React Native, React, Redux, Angular, TypeScript, Mobile Development for iOS and Android) and Middle tier tool GraphQL.
• You are familiar with leading technical efforts to improve app maintainability, stability, and performance.
• You can build push notifications using firebase.
• You have experience in web applications development using Next.js, React, and GraphQL.
• You are familiar with unit testing and MVC/MVVM architectures.
• You have experience with non-relational databases (handling & parsing JSON).
• You demonstrate strong understanding of the SQL language, including the ability to write SQL scripts to retrieve, update, and insert data to/from the database.
• You can deploy apps to Appstore and Playstore.
• You are familiar with ADO or other application lifecycle tool.
• You have in-depth knowledge of UI/UX designs and wireframes.
• You have a strong understanding in Git, Azure Architecture, Object Oriented Programming, and RESTful API.
• You can work both independently and in a team environment.
• You handle responsibilities without consistent oversight and demonstrates self-motivation.
• You excel at effective problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• You possess strong written and verbal communication skills; able to speak to business owners, end users, and engineers alike.
• You can balance multiple projects, manage daily workload, and prioritize tasks.
