GEMS Cambridge International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a passionate and highly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. This position involves teaching mathematics from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5 (A-Level) as well.

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable individual who can inspire a love of mathematics in our students and help them achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and supportive department, working alongside experienced colleagues to deliver an engaging and rigorous curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, following the UK National Curriculum.
• Teach A-Level Mathematics at Key Stage 5 (desirable).
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and instructional materials to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress through various assessment methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and share best practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events.
   

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching mathematics, preferably in a British curriculum setting.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
