National Fire Fighting Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, and ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees on computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
- Monitor and maintain the company’s network and server systems.
- Ensure IT system security and integrity by implementing appropriate measures.
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Train employees on the proper use of software and systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to enhance processes and systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with networking, server systems, and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
