About the job
We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious EYFS Teacher/Assistant Head to join our team, starting in January (or earlier). This role is ideal for someone looking to transition from middle leadership into a senior leadership position. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading by example within an early years setting, demonstrating tangible impact and improvement in teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a class-based role within the EYFS, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Support and develop staff, driving professional growth and excellence across the early years team.
- Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to shape and implement the school’s strategic direction.
- Manage and support enrolments, engaging with parents and the wider community to promote the early years program.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of impact in previous roles, showcasing measurable improvements and achievements.
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an EYFS or early years setting.
- Proven experience in middle leadership, with aspirations to grow into a senior leadership role.
- Ability to showcase tangible impact in previous roles and a vision for making a difference in this position.
- Strong understanding of enrolment processes and engagement with parents.
