We have a full time permanent Relief Admin Support vacancy available based in our Paediatric Department in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.

This role requires comprehensive administration support for the acute Paediatric Team. You will require excellent communication and organisational skills with a degree of flexibility, as this role will provide cover for various roles within the department as the need arises.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties are to provide administrative cover for a variety of clerical roles as directed. The role involves ward clerk duties, reception, appointment clerk and safeguarding liaison support.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Experience in office procedures within an NHS environment
     

Qualifications

  • GCSE English Grade C or Essential Skills L2 or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths Grade c or Essential Skills L2 or equivalent
     

Desirable criteria

  • NVQ L2 Administration or Customer Care
     

Abilities

Essential criteria

  • Ability to meet and greet in the medium of Welsh
     

Desirable criteria

  • Ability to speak Welsh fluently
  • Knowledge of WPAS, WCP, IFIT
