Looking for someone passionate about Python, Django, and database technologies. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Python Developer with a strong focus on Django and database technologies. The ideal person will have a solid understanding of web development principles, experience in building and maintaining web applications, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimisations.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and usability.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Proficiency in Django framework and experience in building RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
- Experience with React.js for front-end development.
- Familiarity with other front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and .NET) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Other skills which are nice to haves:
- Experience with Docker and containerisation technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
